1965 Oldsmobile 442 by Darce Laws

Darce Laws' 1965 Oldsmobile 442, known as 'The Big Booty A-Body,' has been transformed into an impressive turbocharged Xtreme Drag Radial racer. Originally a racecar with a single seat and no lights, Darce turned it back into a street car, adding essential components like headlights and taillamps. The centerpiece of this build is its turbocharged traditional small-block Chevrolet engine, a change from the nitrous-injected big-block Chevy it initially had. Darce and his friends have carried out most modifications themselves, with the exception of a 25.5 chassis upgrade. The car has participated in multiple classes over the last decade, achieving notable success in events like Rocky Mountain Race Week and Drag Week. Weighing in at 3,700 pounds, it's an almost two-ton vehicle that has managed to break the 4-second barrier.
