1993 Ford Mustang by Tony Alm
Tony Alm's 1993 Ford Mustang is a formidable competitor in the Ultra Street drag racing scene. Originally a white Mustang purchased from Dwayne James, it has been extensively modified for racing. The car features a 400 cubic-inch Ford Windsor engine built by Tim Eichhorn at MPR Racing Engines, fitted with Trick Flow High Port cylinder heads, a custom Wilson Manifolds intake, and a Precision Turbo 76 mm turbocharger. The chassis was worked on by TIG Vision, and features Racecraft tubular control arms, k-member, and lightweight suspension components. Menscer Motorsports-modified Afco Racing dampers ensure optimal performance on track. The Mustang rolls on Weld Racing V Series wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson ET Street R tires. Alm tunes the car with a Holley Dominator system and relies on Pro Torque's GenX converters and ATF Speed's Turbo Glide transmissions for power delivery. The car routinely runs in the 4.80-second range, making it a top performer in its class.
