2000 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 "Coping Mechanism" by Alan Morgan

Alan Morgan's 2000 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, known as "Coping Mechanism," is a tribute to his late friend Andy Anderson. After acquiring a Z28 roller in Pewter Metallic, outlined in their shared plans, Alan built the car using key components from Andy’s wrecked vehicle. The build includes a 416ci stroker motor developed from an LS3, equipped with Wiseco pistons, Trick Flow heads, and an Edelbrock intake manifold to handle a 350 horsepower nitrous shot. The Camaro sits on Champion Cap 5 wheels and features a Midwest Chassis 9-inch rearend. Notable features include a VFN Fiberglass hood, smoked lighting, a carbon-fiber roof, and a Holley fuel system. Despite its impressive race-ready modifications, Alan keeps it street legal and insured, often using it for everyday activities.
