Evasive Motorsports' Toyota 86 triumphed at the 2020 Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with Formula Drift Champion Dai Yoshihara behind the wheel. Despite facing numerous mechanical challenges during practice, including turbo and drivetrain issues, the team managed to overcome these setbacks. With support from industry contacts and late nights solving unexpected problems, they prepared the car to compete successfully. The build featured a larger turbo to handle the high altitude's demands, and parts flown in just in time to make it race-ready. Ultimately, Evasive Motorsports secured first place in their class, showcasing resilience and teamwork.
