Nitrous-Fed 1968 Camaro Breaks X275 Record
Ron Rhodes reclaimed the X275 small block nitrous record with his red 1968 Camaro, featuring a BES 500 CI small block engine and a Holley Dominator EFI system. The car achieved a record time of 4.310 seconds at 166.60 MPH at Cecil County Dragway's Outlaw Street Car Shootout. Ron, who runs Rhodes' Custom Auto & Body, converted from carburetion to EFI for better control and performance. The car showcases Holley EFI's capability in handling the nitrous-powered engine.
