This custom-fabricated land speed car, commissioned by Dunlop Tires, is based on the 2002 Chevrolet Corvette and constructed on a tubular chassis by Spitzer Race Cars. It achieved a 2002 world record speed of 388.538 km/h on standard production tires. Power is provided by a methanol-fueled 585ci big-block Chevrolet V8, built by Steve Schmidt Racing, delivering approximately 1,300 horsepower. Features include dual Holley carburetors, MSD ignition, and a Lenco Racing manual transmission. The car sports distinctive yellow and red two-tone paint with sponsor graphics, a rear wing, and a drag parachute.
