482ci Big-Block Ford Fairlane Drag Car
This 1967 Ford Fairlane, built by Michael Tagg, is a serious contender in the NMCA Nostalgia Muscle Car class. Originally a clean shell, it now houses an aluminum 427 block stroked to 482 cubic inches, built by Fillmore Machine. With Edelbrock aluminum heads, a Holley Dominator, and an Edelbrock Victor 427 intake, it's built for power. A Jerico 4-speed transmission and 4.56-geared Ford 9-inch rear end help it achieve low 10-second quarter-mile times. The Lime Gold paint and Torque Thrust wheels give it a period-correct look, enhanced by the '427 scooped' hood.
