The Ruffian GT40, crafted by Chris Ashton of Ruffian Cars, is a modern interpretation of the classic Ford GT40. This build, showcased at the SEMA show, features a Ford Racing 52XS 5.2-liter crate engine, producing 580 hp, paired with a Quaife 5-speed dogleg transaxle. Its striking appearance includes a custom carbon widebody kit, 3D printed headlights, and 2020 Toyota Cavalry Blue paint. The car rides on Signature THREE center-lock wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888R tires, with a Wilwood braking system ensuring safe stops. The project is a testament to Ashton's skills, blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.
