AEM's 'Testang' is a 2007 Ford Mustang GT retrofitted with a Tesla electric drive system, demonstrating AEM's advancements in EV technology. The car features a Tesla Base Drive unit managed by a custom AEM Inverter Control Board and VCU200 vehicle control unit. It is equipped with QA1 coil-overs, Wilwood brakes, and is set to receive custom Finspeed wheels. The Testang also includes a CD-5L digital dash, CAN Keypad, and dual PDU-8 expansion modules for system control. It's a showcase of integrating EV tech into hot rods for everyday usability.
