1979 Pontiac Firebird-Style Funny Car Body

This 1979 Pontiac Firebird-style funny car body was constructed specifically for drag racing. Finished in a distinctive bronze with gold pinstriping and racing graphics, it has been refurbished for use in nostalgia funny car events. The fiberglass body is reinforced with aluminum and designed to fit a 125-inch wheelbase chassis. Features include polycarbonate windows, simulated headlights and taillights, a rear spoiler, and an emergency escape hatch. It was acquired by the seller in 2022 and offered in West Los Angeles, California.
